Anyone seen this?

It's a way of playing Wii Isos via a computer. Seems that you attach the board to the DVD drive belt and pass a cable outside which attaches into a USB connector.

There are some videos on YouTube. Price seems to be about $70.

also they have plenty of resellers & one of them is ozmodchips which i know as a reputable dealer

Yes, if you go to the end of the GBA thread you will see tha they also agree that it is genuine. Seems it's the price that's the problem!

WiiNewz has also started a users forum- bit premature.

even if it is real ... for  $70 you may as well MOD properly the Wii while you have it in bits!

This is supposed to be for people with the newer consoles which have epoxied chips or even no drive chip at all. It also works for others whose laser has gone.

I agree, though, for consoles that can be modded that that would be the better option rather than having a computer next to your Wii.
