Um I'm struggling with the cheats, which file should I download as the cheat db, i thought I got the right cheat.dat and renamed to usrcheat.dat but no cheats show for any game :-(

Try "usrcheat.DAT" with capital letters.  Worked for jmr anyway.

The cheats worked for me with "USRCHEAT.DAT" in all capitals.

My problem is, and I believe it's only my own, is that I don't know how to make them work. The cheats all show up, and I can pick which ones I want to use, but at what point do I use the provided button configuration to activate them? While the game is loading? At any time during the game?

Also, I miss the small Icon view. I hope they'll bring it back in a subsequent update.

cheats didnt work for me if i used usrcheat.dat or USRCHEAT.DAT
they would show up & i could select then but they would not activate
what i had to do was edit the .dso file into .DSO (UPPERCASE) so i would have two .dso files which i could not delete or cheats would stop activating

i havnt tryed the final release to see if its fixed for me as i dont have access to a dsone/i card at the moment

Thanks for the info, JMR.

I'm going to try out the SP1 patch released today to see if this cheat thing isn't resolved.

EDIT: everything works fine now, no need to edit anything. I'm still using a USRCHEAT.DAT file in all caps.
