Defective Supercard?
« on: January 02, 2005, 11:46:17 AM »
I finally received my Supercard from a friend in HK.  I actually ordered 2 - one for each child.  Anyways, one of the cards I have not had any success other than the white screen with "not find the CF... Please turn off GBA".

Now I've done the following:
1. Tested the Supercard in other GBA sp - same problem.
2. Tested the "problem" supercard with working CF - same problem
3. Tested working GBA sp cart in GBA - works fine.

Can anybody help me figure out if there is anything else I need to do?

Also, my kids love Pokemon. and I've loaded the pokemon games for them.  Have saved, using the normal save and L+R+Select+A to save the game to CF.  However, occasionally when I load the game, it "freezes" up with a nasty noise.  Can't do anything but turn it off and try again.  Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.  (Specifically tested with Pokemon Ruby).

have you formatted the CF?  Also make sure not to format to fat32 and make sure the CF is going in right side up, I know, it sounds silly, but I've seen it done ;)  As far as pokemon, the supercard doesn't have a RT, so I doubt it would work anyhow.
