What program would I use to update the ndsinfo.dat file myself?

I don't care about the cheats personally I never use cheats, I prefer the games as is.  But I LOVE my ndsinfo.dat being up-to-date so I can see my game name and number on my supercard dsone.  I'm sure this can't be hard to update if you know what program to update it with.  I tried just opening it as a text and that of course gave me a bunch of jibberish.

If anyone knows any program (preferably free lol) that I can use to update my .dat file myself please, please, please post and let me know.

now I can update it myself according to advanscene. I've already figure it how and where I can get it. all of it, except for the Checksum16

anyone know how I can get the Checksum16 code/data besides by actually load the correct ROMs? 'coz that way I have to download ALL the ROMs, which is hard for me with 30-40KB/s

Here you can find v0.5 beta
There's also a link to v0.6 beta, but I can't download from it (resultant file is 0 byte)
Hope someone will update ndsinfo.dat file now that the program is available.

Almost forgot, you need to download this OfflineList to update Chinese names
I don't know why these information are so hard to find (maybe bacause are almost all in Chinese) and why jmr didn't provided some instruction on how to create this list in his absence..

You have to click the link from this site or it will not allow you to download... Even if you copy the link and paste it in the url bar it will fail.  Just go to the first post of the thread and click the links there.  Let me know if you are still having problems.

Unless there is a site somewhere that has the checksum already listed, then you're gonna have to do it with each ROM.

If you aren't gonna play the rom, it's kinda pointless to add it to the database anyways.
