Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time freeze

So I'm playing Mario and Luigi, my favourite DS game at the moment, then it freezes! I'm up to Yoshi's Island and I just defeated Kamek. I followed Bowser, he ate the shards, then 2 Shroobs in flying saucers fly past.

Then the top screen changes to the whole mountain and you can see the big fat pink Yoshi like climbing up it. Then it freezes. Nothing moves. All the brothers are just looking up and Bowser is still gasping from being jumped on, but nothing else happens.

Any ideas?

It seems I need to repatch the ROM with the 2.51 patcher. The link that the guy gave was outdated. Any ideas of where I can get it?

rememeber to double click the rom in the list and disable 'trim rom, faster gameplay, ingame reset'

hey.  it's on this very forum.  check the download section.  if yours is the SD version look here http://scdev.org/index.php?cat=archive&type=sd   if not, check downloads, and look for archived downloads.

nah...this is all wrong....im playing it,right now..
beat kamek yesterday,did the whole yoshi island,into the desert and the caves now,and mine hasnt frozen.
checked reset,trim rom,and faster gameplay,all on the SD version.
patched with latest version/s,and using firmware 1.63...
must be an isolated incident...

Has MicroSD been known to have this issue?  I was playing M&L for a while before I... ehh... got tetris (heh)... and eventually if I ever get tired of this wonderful Tetris rendition Nintendo has blessed us with, I'll probably like to go back to playing M&L for a while.  But I no longer have my SCCF, just the en-route MicroSD.

Doesn't work for me with SD micro.  I've tried using the older patcher but I guess that won't work as it wasn't written with the SC Lite in mind.  [edit] Actually it does with the US version, but not EU.

I know its been a while but do u know what u did im just starting the game and stuck at the same part.
