Hard to say what could be wrong. Make sure its:

SD or CF v1.63 firmware only, extracted directly from your supercard.

My best guess is that you may have not had the most up-to-date version of the firmware on your supercard. If still you cannot get it to work you can try downloading the dumps from this page. (use at own risk)  :)

I think the first set, but not totally sure. I think the second set is their spanish translation.

This banner is limited to 16 colors, sucky,
so you have to get creative with your skinning.

Actually it is possible to create banners with way more colors than 16. I succeeded in creating some tests with more than 128.

The process is to :
1) create a banner in full colors RGB mode.
2) reduce to Indexed Color
3) Modify your Color Table so #1 is main background, #128 is hover font and #142 is normal font
4) save optimized as a 8-PNG without changing depth color and you're done with a hi quality skin !

im having trouble with the zelda and the pokemon skins. the buttons looks great and all but the bottom is all black. is there a way to fix this or am i doing something wrong? oh yea, the mario and sonic skins works great.

My bad. fixed now. You can renab them in my post above (be sure to refresh the page first) or re-download the lump.  Forgot to set the background color.

Thats what I get for posting banners I didn't test first. :3 I am apparently the king of little mistakes!

Thanks for this great software!

I've got a problem though. When I rename my BIN file to 'firmware.gba', it remains a BIN file.

How do I change that BIN file into a GBA file?

Thanks!
