I'm really having a problem with this..

I've downloaded it multiple times, dragged it on to my memory card.. But it doesnt detect the driver.. or w/e it is..

What am I gonna do bout this? :\
(I'm getting close to give up on this)

--------------------------------------------------

Infact, I think it might be my 6 gig card thats messing me up..

I tried it on a 1 gig, and the FATsort program recongnizes that its in a ...w/e its called...

..What am I gonna do? :(

Hyper_Metal_Sonic, welcome to scdev!

If i am not mistaken FAT has a limit of approx 4gig. Ahh, maybe not so true, it is that for a single file limit. What is your 6gig card formatted to?

you dont need to do this. (dont know if it matters)

you are using FAT16 and not FAT32 right?

I agree with devil, you do not need to run from memory card. If you do right click on it and choose hidden so you will not see it in any menu. With that said, it is a small program and i do keep it on my daughters sd card for her SC SD, and this came in handy on vacation in San Francisco, when putting a new item on it and then just run as i usually do all of this from pc not my laptop.

Just a quick note:  the "MCTool v0.16" program is a DS-side version of FATsort you can keep on your DS so you can sort and repair your filesystem even when away from the computer.  It has issues sorting on my 2 GB card, but on my 1 GB card it works fine.  Error checking works fine on both cards.

I never have used playlist, and shuffle will just mix them all up like an ipod would do.

You will want to make sure to choose alphabetical for the File sort options and the Directory sort options.

This will put the roms in alphabetical order (i have my roms numbered so you see them as 1 thru 1000, not 1000 thru 1)

NOTE: If you are using Supercard firmware v1.7 or higher, you will want to check the Invert sort that is directly below the file sort options so you directory will continue to be A to Z. Due to the changes in SC firmware, A to Z sorting now requires it to be inverted.

Reygok, are you using a slot-1 Supercard DS or a slot-2 Supercard CF/SD/minisD/Lite?  This program is only necessary for the slot-2 Supercards, which do not automatically sort alphabetically.
